New Video - 13 months!

Yes, it's been a while, and it's been busy. New job, new place, so on and so on. But you, the demanding public, do not care. Fear not. Through Grandma's wonderful digital camera, I present you a new video - David at 13 months.



And hopefully, later this week, I'll spend a few minutes fixing that strange sound-repeating problem. Emphasis on strange.

What? You didn't notice it, you say?

(villanous laugh tone) Heh heh. Heh Heh heh. Ha Ha Ha. MUA HA HA HA HA (builds to a slow, loud climax) HAAA HAAA HAAAA HAAAA!!!!! (crackle of thunder, flash of lightning, shadow of figure holding a knife on the wall, slam of door, creak of floor, ring of doorbell, arrival of delivery pizza, end of this shameless subtitle)

Year Two Begins with some changes...

Well well well. Year two is just a month done, and have things been happening left and right. We have MANY new thresholds to show you all over the coming week or two. We'll start with one of the first ones...



My boy can feed himself!*


*Note: My son did not learn to feed himself with pizza. We are not that irresponsible. He went through many things before he reached this pinnacle of manhood.

Happy 30th!!!

We take this moment to honor our comrade - the first of Daddy's friends to hit the great milestone known as 30. He is, of course, James, who has been my friend since those crazy school days way back when. James is also part of the reason that David James has that name (the other half being my brother), so on those rare situations when James and David James can get together, it's extremely wonderful and exciting, full of crazy fun times, as you can tell from the pictures below.

At 3 months, David James is already a huge fan of the older James.

Here are the inseparable duo. David is just riveted by the company of the 30 year old.

Can you even imagine what David will be like around James the next time?!?

Happy 30th Jimmy. Most of us will be joining you shortly.

One Year....again

David had yet another one year old present (in the world of the Grandparents, things are meant to be celebrated many more times than the traditional 'once'). This one was from Grammy and Grampy.

Contrary to what it may seem, no fingers were injured in the making of this picture. Several grapes, however, lost their 'fruitful' lives.
